But I have to admit, some of the animation, and most of the transitions made me wince pretty hard... might want to do more research and time for fire/particle effects.
Well, you said yourself you were lazy...
And it shows, if you want to really contribute fun movies and games and the like, put actual effort in to it. Don't submit something you know is below par.
No background, no context for a story, and shoddy animation.
Sprite movie check list.
Don't use original art- Check
Text with no voice acting - Check
Eventually have no background - Check
Vector effects over pixel sprites - Check
No actual ending, but it loops to the beginning with no preloader - Check
No Story - Big ol' check.
With that said, some of the action wasn't put together that bad, but it looks like it was already animated and just ripped from premade .gifs that you did not credit.
i didn't know how to do as much stuff. i made this in january :P
I was waiting for it to be funny...
I understand it isn't supposed to be taken seriously, but that doesn't exclude how boring it was, the lack of anything to laugh at, the poor animation, and the fact that it was a day late for Madness Day :(
The uploader obviously wasn't broken if everyone else had their submissions in.
Explain how it didn't work yesterday when I tried upload this then.
Maybe next time, read the Genre of the flash.
Memes and terribad animation.
I hates its... I really hates its....
I hates you... I really hates you...
Ended very randomly
One of the problems with many Madness Day submissions, is that when you try to emulate Krinkles' style so much, it will lead most people to just think they could be watching one of Krinkles' movies. Because no matter how good you are at his style, you'll never be as good at it as he is, and it makes this almost feel like a waste. Also, I didn't see that ending coming... were you just worried that you were running out of time?
How did you manage to make this 7.5 mb?
Pretty sure there's a couple rules against just submitting ads for Flash entries.
Either way, what was there... wasn't very descriptive, and was kind of annoying.
It's weird that this one is better...
... than your submission for Madness Day 2009, they actually tuuurrnnn in this one, which is a much needed improvement, but it's insultingly short, and you still have the problem of the music looping with every scene change (just give the music its own layer, man).
I'm sorry this took you four months to make--
But it doesn't feel like four months of effort, the stop is VERY sudden, for a Madness styled movie where there aren't camera changed the death-toll was very low. The music (that you didn't credit) looped with every scene change. It wasn't a game, and it really bugged me how no character turned...ever. Even if to shoot someone behind them, they wont turn around, they will twist their neck and arm all the way around, but never turn.
Not to mention the title and your author comments are just plain obnoxious.
Keep trying buddy, with more practice you're bound to either find your own style or get better at Krinkles'.
Wow, 3mb for this?
Oi, joke submissions....
