But I have to admit, some of the animation, and most of the transitions made me wince pretty hard... might want to do more research and time for fire/particle effects.

Well, you said yourself you were lazy...

And it shows, if you want to really contribute fun movies and games and the like, put actual effort in to it. Don't submit something you know is below par.

No background, no context for a story, and shoddy animation.

Text with no voice acting - Check

Eventually have no background - Check

Vector effects over pixel sprites - Check

No actual ending, but it loops to the beginning with no preloader - Check

No Story - Big ol' check.

With that said, some of the action wasn't put together that bad, but it looks like it was already animated and just ripped from premade .gifs that you did not credit.

The Portal isn't the place for this kind of thing.

You should only submit full and completed projects here. Not tests you produce as a result from learning Flash.

It stops the idle animations.

Fail trolling effort, it doesn't work as well on Newgrounds, does it?

Not a bad attempt, feels unfinished.

Lack of sound effects, and the annoying very thrown together background really kill it for me.

A bit better pacing with moving through the levels wouldn't hurt either. Feels like it's only the skeleton for a finished game.

At least try.

This was just terrible, most of it was made using the line tool and was almost blatantly just taken off of actual art from the show.

No background, no style, not detailed, poor work over all.

It's neato furrito.

I like how the reflection's all rippley in the water, makes a good composition.
